Creative block

2025 has been a tough year for me so far. I’ve wanted desperately to be creative, but most of that has been blocked. I live in the UK, which has its own political flaws, there is a lot going on in other countries at the moment, I’m part of the queer community which is going through a lot right now both inside and outside the UK. What I’m trying to say is that it’s really hard not to be affected by all of it.

I feel like I’ve come up with some pretty good, interesting and fun ideas. Sadly, none of them are attached to this project. I just have not had the time (due to day job) or headspace to do anything about any of them. I’m trying to work through it but it’s going to take time.

I did get some feedback on the document as it stood. This has allowed me to make a few changes that I have decided to put out. Without further ado, this is v0.9.

Changelog for v0.9

• Renamed Guardian Move SOOTHE to NEGOTIATE and changed the explanation for a better fit
  • Added hints for the 7-9 result for this move
• Changed Mental and Physical Energy for Mental and Physical Stress across the whole document to steer away from the word harm.
• Changed the introduction to hint at a mystery situation with the convention and removed the reference to cosplay to open up to all conventions.
• Mass punctuation fix across the whole document
• Rival NPC Questions - Adding something to tie in the Old Flame, Family Member & Old Boss
• Changed Collector - APPRECIATE to be Roll +Weird and changed the result text, still unsure about it
• Added Guardian skill OVER THERE, something to divert the attention away from you or the party
• Reworked Ultrafan playbook quite a bit, changed UM, ACTUALLY to MY TIME TO SHINE
• Made the formatting on the playbooks more consistent
